Proposed Revised Medfield Meadows

Dale Street 40B revisions

On July 18, 2017 developer, John Kelly of Medfield Meadows LLC presented a revised set of plans for their 40B proposal. There were approximately 100 people in attendance, mostly Dale Street neighbors. 


The most notable changes to the project since its MassHousing denial in January have been:

  • Application split into 2 applications, one for 49 Dale St (Grovedale Homes) and one for 39 & 41 Dale St (Medfield Green).
  • The addition of ownership units at Grovedale Homes.
  • Over 50% reduction in the total unit count.
  • Reduction in height and scale on both projects.
  • No longer only rental apartments. Now includes a mix of rental apartments, rental townhouses and for-sale townhouses.

Please note that the application has not yet been submitted to MassHousing or to the Town of Medfield. The Town is posting these plans at the developer's request so the citizens of Medfield may provide input and comments prior to their official submissions.
