Asphalt paving of South Street Extension from Juniper Lane to the Norfolk Town Line is scheduled for this coming Monday and Tuesday, June 29th and 30th (weather permitting). Expect delays with detours. Please seek alternate routes if possible.

June 4 Post:

The Town of Medfield will be conducting grinding and pavement operations on South Street (from Juniper Lane to the Norfolk Town Line) beginning Monday, June 8, 2020 at 7:00am.

The contractor for this activity will be Aggregate Industries, from Saugus, Massachusetts. There may be delays in the schedule if there are issues with weather or mechanical breakdowns. The construction activity will be accomplished during the day. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences this may cause you.

The work will consist of milling (grinding) the existing asphalt top layer, adjust the manholes and catch basins to its finished grade level, install the top course pavement of asphalt, and linepaint all the pertinent areas for proper traffic movement. There will be police details on-site to assist you through the project. You may experience detours at times and we ask that you seek alternate routes if possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Medfield Department of Public Works at (508) 906-3003. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we try to improve our roadway network in the Town of Medfield.
