SBC Site Selection Survey Recap
THANK YOU to all the Community members who responded to the SBC Site Selection Survey. We received 1185 responses! Below are the results. The SBC discussed the results at their August meeting. We will continue discussions at our September 4th meeting, and vote on the site for a future building project at our October meeting. And an additional HUGE THANK YOU to the community members who attended our May forums!

Hello Medfield Community! The School Building Committee (SBC) is asking for feedback about the site selection of a future elementary building project. Our committee was appointed in January 2023 to address the deteriorating physical conditions of the Dale Street School. We held 4 public forums in May 2024. At the forums we updated the community about our work, gathered feedback on site selections, and discussed various aspects of a building project. Fifty-seven community members voted at the 4 forums on site selection. We are seeking your input now with this survey to gain additional insights into the community's point of view.

Survey Results: The SBC thanks everyone who participated in our first survey. We had 1112 respondents! This was an important first step for the SBC as we engage the Medfield community in our task of creating a new proposal for the Dale Street School (replacement/renovation yet to be determined).

The School Building Committee is seeking your feedback!
The School Building Committee (SBC) has been formalized to study and advise the town regarding a new/renovated elementary school building. Your input is vital to this process! The SBC will seek your feedback in short surveys, conversations, meetings, etc. as we embark on this journey.
The first survey will inform the SBC of your perspective on the prior proposal and what is currently important to you as the new process begins.
The survey is anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself in the open comment questions. Survey results will be publicly shared.
